- added drive names in File Sys Format when available.
- added USER CODE EDIT function in service for dct4/bb5 usb mode
- removed normal mode transition for bb5 when setting test mode causing failed on bad cables.
- small interface corrections.

New setup is ready 1.96:

JAF 1.96 final:
- fixed bug with restarting phone after flash in bb5 usb dead flashing.
- added latest usb drivers (May 08, 2006). It will automaticaly be installed.

Hi

Finaly new jaf version is ready, 1.97 beta1.

- added LCK option in bb5 flashing. This will autosave, if checked, the lock data from pm. If something goes wrong in flashing and phone will lock itself you can restore the lock data by writing pm back

- added 128k page flash chip support on usb flashing (6280, 6233 etc). Remember to use version 3.81 or higher to flash 6280 with AMD chips.

- improved usb communication. This will affect all bb5 and ape usb flashing.

- Improved File Sys detection. Now all should be ok. If still have problems please post.

- corrected 7710 ape usb flashing. It was due too short timeout on usb.

- added OMAP mcu check when flash phones with bad ape mcu. Flash will not start, saving the phone from erasing then error on write.

- added more error messages to improve hw error detection more easy

- and the SMALL SURPRISE: JAF NOW SUPPORTS UFS INTERFACE AS FLASHING INTERFACE. DCT4 and BB5 (5 or 7 pins cable) are fully supported for now. Soon more will follow. This is a beta stage. We are waiting for your feedback.

- added checked values by default for RPL208 and LCK308 flashing options. This may helps some users to prevent damaging the phones.
- fixed bug when you have no interface connected, clicking mode tabs will generate errors
- fixed a bug with File System detection, File2 was detected instead of SymbianEPOC. Still waiting for tests.. hope to be the last one.
- added DCT4 Erase flash support for UFS interface. Also fixed a bug with flash erase when fails even when flashing all was ok.

- added PHONE TYPE display in top of the window when you read info, use ini.. etc
- added support for multi pkey flash. If you have more than one pkey you can use all for multiflash. You can use as many jaf or ufs interfaces you have.
- added BB5 life time reset FBUS/USB mode
- corrected error when changing tabs in PKEY only mode
- added Read PP in dct4/bb5 FBUS/USB
- added MAKE INI in manual mode
- added dct4 simlock data info

JAF ver 1.97 beta9

- rewritten DCT4 asic 2 imei patch routine. Now you can patch any dct4 asic 2 gsm phone without patch files. ESN NOT SUPPORTED YET. Hopefully in next days. Also some new versions of phones can be patched but no working signal, we work on that also. PHONES MUST HAVE WORKING IMEI BEFORE PATCH.

Some quick instructions:

1. Press imei patch. Enter new imei.
2. Select mcu file for that phone type and version.

For N93 flashing you need Flash Loaders version 6.23.023 or higer.

Also If you build your own fbus cable put 68k b/w bsi-gnd and 7.5k in serial with bsi line.
For USB flashing ONLY LIVE USB FLASHING IS POSSIBLE. When you flash by usb after flash phone takes long time to reboot. Even you have phone not found message but on phone display you have test mode then all is ok. Just reconnect phones battery and check the phone.

This is a quick fix release.

- added E50 flashing support (ONLY FBUS YET). Thx to "The Saint74" for testing.
- fixed USE INI function for 6270, 3250.. files selection
- improved files selection for BB5. Files are scanned on selection for validity.
- added flashing option for bb5, NORMAL MODE. This will restart the phone in normal mode after flash. Very usefull in usb flashing.
- Moved dct4 unlock codes from INF to UNLOCK option. This will speedup the info process
- small bugs corrected.

- improved DCT4 booting phone in flashing mode. This solves dead 11xx phones flashing.

It's strongly recommended to use this latest version especialy for E series usb flashing.
For damaged imei a solution is under way.

- fixed NO answer problem in RPL208 saving causing disabled commands
- added a loaders update system in update tab. Press check then download. For example for a quick refresh with latest loaders, delete all files from odeon/jaf/folder (don't delete flash folder) then press check and download all.
