REPLACEMENT for Sentinel Dongles STARTED
The replacement dongles have arrived at the main distributors or are on the way.
So, any Vygis software customer that have sentinel dongle (old LPT dongle or the one looking like in the picture on
www.VygisToolbox.com) can ''replace'' his dongle with a new Smartcard Dongle.

What is intentioned:
1 - Saving one way delivery costs for the customers by using a logger system that creates a FIRST log from the dongle and the regfiles with the needed information.
Of course some people will try to cheat- crack even this log system this make us to limit the replacement offer like this for 2 Months
2 - Making sure this reduced cost dongles will be used ONLY for replacement, and will NOT be sold to new customer by gready people.
This way for our existing customer should be assured stock.
Because of this, the replacement dongles, when the customer receive them, NEED TO BE ACTIVATED, by the author, using a SECOND LOG and new registration files.
3 - Keeping out the people using fake reg files, cracked vygis software, etc..

For this, wherever a fake reg file, usage of cracked Vygis software will be detected That dongle will NOT be replaced and WILL BE DEACTIVATED.
Of course also the dongles (Dongle ID’s) used in crack software are Blacklisted.
(Warning for people NOT to give to anybody their reg files !!!)
4 - Customer will be able to use also the ‘’old’’ sentinel dongle, even if there will be no upgrades for this type of dongle anymore. It will still help a lot of people who have 2 shops, or 2 working places, a lot.
So, actually the honest existing sentinel dongle customer will have the oportunity to get a brand new VygisToolbox Smartcard dongle for a verry low price.
They will use the existing account on the
www.VygisToolbox.com support site.
Also, since sentinel dongles has not been shipped out anymore from the distributors since about more then 1,5 monthes anymore NEW accounts on the
www.VygisToolbox.com support site will be activated ONLY for Schlumberger dongles.
Procedure
Short description:
Step 1 – Making a first log from the sentinel dongle including also the reg files and sending to the reseller.
The reseller confirms if all is ok, then after receiving the payment will send the replacement dongle to the customer.
Step 2 – With BOTH dongles connected (old sentinel dongle and new Smartcard dongle) you make second log file and send it together with attcahed your reg files to your reseller or directly to
[email protected]
Then just wait for the reg files.
Limitations: You can make LOG 1 and LOG 2 file only one time with same Sentinel dongle
and same PC.If you have few Sentinel dongles and want to make logs for them,you need to use other PC.

Logger software, Sentinel Dongle drivers, Smartcard Dongle drivers, and Dongle ID reader are ALL avaiable on the support website. You need just to go there and download.
Please check if your drivers for the one or other dongle are installed correctly by reading the Dongle Id with the mentioned Dongle ID reader.
The logs can be made for 1 dongle ONLY on one PC/dongle and 1 time.
Step1:
- If sentinel dongle driver is not installed on the PC, then do it now, and check by reading the ID.
- Connect to PC your Sentinel dongle and start logger software.
- With button "Add regs" open all reg files,which you had for Sentinel dongle.
Opened reg files must appear in "Selected reg files" window. You can drag & drop reg
files to this window also
Check if you selected all reg files correctly,as you will can make LOG1 file only 1 times.
- Fill fields "Customer info","Reseller name", "Customers main mail" and if
you have second mail,please fill and "Customers second mail" field.
- Press button "Make LOG1" and wait until log file will be made.
If you get message like "Your dongle is dissabled"-it means,that you tried to include cloned reg files,or you have dongle with blocked ID,or you are trying to make logs using sentinel emulator.In all cases,you will not can make logs more and will not can use sentinel dongle also.
First log file looks like xxxx.log1,where xxxx is your Sentinel dongle ID.
Send this log file to your reseller.
The Reseller confirm, then after receiving the payment will send the replacement dongle to you.
Step2:
- For LOG 2 making you need to have connected to your PC both dongles-Sentinel and SmartCard dongle.
- Drivers for SmartCard must be installed also.If you use any software with Sclumberger e-gate card(SETools,Infinity,Cruiser, Thunderstorm or SST), then you don't need install the drivers for SmartCard dongle.
Also before LOG 2 making,please check if your SmartCard dongle can be detected correctly.For checking use SmartCard ID reader,if you can read dongle ID from SmartCard dongle,you can start LOG 2 making.
- Please check if you have all reg files selected in window "Selected reg files",
also please check if fields with Customer,Reseller and mail info are filled.
LOG 2 file can be made only one time,so all info must be correct before you make it.
If everything is OK,press "Make LOG 2" and wait until LOG 2 file will be created.
LOG 2 file looks like xxxx_000xxxxx.log2,where first 4 digits are Sentinel ID and
next 8 digits are SmartCard dongle ID.
Send LOG 2 file and ALSO all reg files atached DIRECTLY by mail to the author at
[email protected] and wait for new reg files.
